Bloxs

I'm not really sure if Bloxs is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. This looks a lot like someone took an Unreal Marketplace low poly/cartoony platformer asset pack and dumped on an Unreal third person platformer blueprint, mucked around with level design for half an hour, and called it a day (I think maybe the character model and a couple of others may not be flipped, but it still looks so much like an asset flip to me, overall). $100, Steam Direct, that somehow turns someone in to Bethesda or Bioware, right? Well, it doesn't, take a look at the peak player counts below for a little chuckle. So this is just a basic kids platformer, only badly made, with obtuse level …

Its kind of bad. While I love a brainless collect-a-thon, I gave up real early on this one due to an overly sensitive camera and frustrating controls. It has potential, but missed the mark, and is in need of a tune up.
