About BLOKI
BLOKI is an educational game about residential architecture from the Soviet era. It aims to make people aware of the important function of the colors of buildings, as well as to encourage reflection on the spaces around us. The game also allows you to signal your own needs related to the aesthetics and functioning of these estates while showing the consequences of their implementation.
Work plan at the estate:
1. Prepare a facade design for two residential buildings. Use the color palette and available geometric patterns. Follow the instructions to earn as many aesthetic points as possible.
2. Get to know the elements of the surroundings available in the Służew nad Dolinką estate. Choose environmentally friendly, look after social initiatives, and the necessary elements of small architecture. Earn points for aesthetics, sustainability, and functionality.
3. Share your vision with us - share your design on Instagram with #BLOKIgame.

I thought this was kind of like a free build game where you can improve a soviet era building into a modern standard but then I saw the task option telling me what I have to do and I didn't like that at all. I also didn't like how this whole game's steam page is all in English but when you go in it's just all Russian. Thankfully I found the options to switch it back to English but why have it default to Russian when you show this game off as it being for English players and not making the steam page be in Russian?3 found this helpful

This is a really cool creator-game about designing housing block complexes, though it does have some flaws. The music perfectly captures the unique atmosphere of a typical Polish estate built during the communist era, and the graphics are pretty good. I also appreciate that it is based on a actual estate, 'Służew nad Dolinką', located in Warsaw. However, I find the points system confusing and couldn't unlock all of the creator's content. Overall, I'm quite happy that I have accidentally stumbled upon and got to play BLOKI.1 found this helpful
Not at all relaxing, too many rules and penalty points. Would not recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing design game.
