About The Thing That Happened
Welcome Survivor!
The Thing That Happened is an Openworld Third Person - Action Adventure Survial game.
You can use multiple weapons, attachments, close combat skills trees and crafting to break through your enemies.
In a post-apocalyptic world, Marcus Draven who arrived in the city of Jericho. The city was in ruins, with remnants of an old civilization scattered everywhere. Marcus had been traveling for days, scavenging for food and supplies to survive in this harsh new world.
As Marcus entered Jericho, he was met with a desolate landscape - crumbling buildings, overgrown vegetation, and a sense of eerie silence. The once bustling city was now a ghost town, haunted by the memories of its former glory.
Though the world around them remained harsh and unforgiving, the spirit of resilience and community in Jericho served as a beacon of hope in the face of adversity. Marcus journey in the post-apocalyptic city of Jericho was a testament to the human capacity for survival, adaptation, and the enduring will to rebuild even in the bleakest of circumstances.
Achived with Unreal Engine 5.2
Its a 2 person project , please keep that in mind. I used UE marketplace / Sketsfab assets, just like most of the indie developers and many big title's does.

its a rough game dude. the preview shows on the store page looks so much better than in game. The atmosphere is okay and eerie but the zombies just look goofy - not to mention when you kill something in the game the body does not stay it just evaporates in a red wave. I wouldn't waste your money - I get it a small dev team sure but in todays world when indie teams are producing bangers you cant bring this to the table. All settings during playing were set to the highest with no performance issues so it is at least optimized. Edit: I absolutely cannot believe this is the 1.0 version lol22 found this helpful
I was liking it okay but it kept locking up just before you get to the first safe house {I think it is a safe house} but anyway just couldn't progress regrettably refunding. I can't really recommend it, so it's a no for me.8 found this helpful
I just can't lmao! All these content creators are founded by devs like this one to promote the game that is not even close to what they show. Not this time mate, not from me. I refunded the game.7 found this helpful
The game immediately crashed upon starting it on recommended hardware. On this PC (specs below minimum), it at least opened but was very laggy.2 found this helpful
