What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise this cozy life simulation for its relaxing gameplay with plenty of variety, including charming animals, engaging mining that's actually fun, satisfying crafting, and diverse activities like farming, house building, and vehicle exploration that keep players busy without pressure. However, some players report significant technical issues including frequent crashes, game-breaking bugs like dialogue loops, and frustrating glitches that worsen with updates, making the experience unplayable for those affected despite the game's otherwise strong foundation.
literally stardew but anime and 3d and bigger
This is the best video game I've played all year. Was given as a birthday gift from a long-time friend :-) Funny enough this game literally has you returning to your hometown, Starsand Island. Where people remember idyllic childhood days, and welcome you back to the community, festivities, and also cheer you on in various jobs. It's like being in a wholesome, 90's, asian inspired paradise island, and it's huge with mountains and temples too (though there's some pretty cool useful tech). Everyone was so lovely in this game, and I even felt inspired by some of the dialogue. You can keep all kinds of cute animals like bunnies pretty early on. Rollerblading, skateboarding, animal mounts, vehicles.. makes it even more magical. Oh, there's a magical realism theme in the game, hinted by some of the locations etc. I like how there are various jobs and skills: crafting, ranching, farming, exploring etc. About 40ish hours in and there's still heaps of gameplay, I'm still playing! Even though it's still in early access, I really recommend it already. 💛🏝️ The weather in the game is really immersive visually and musically. It's been so lovely enjoying all these in-game sunny days duri…
Super cozy and plenty to do. A fantastic game full of charm and very addictive.
After playing this game for a little while, I can say that this is definitely the kind of game that I could easily binge for a few days, but then would likely just put down and never return to. It's a lot of fun for what it is, and there are a lot of positives, but I can't say I really recommend it in it's current state, at it's current price. As for the positives, the island the game takes place on is really pretty, fairly varied for how small it is, and fun to traverse around using the various different methods of transportation available to you. The character customisation is also decent, and decorating your house can be pretty fun, but the method for crafting the decorations can often range from anywhere between easy to tedious. The game is fun, but I wouldn't say there is any one metric where it particularly stands out from many of the other JRPG village life sims that are available. You are going to spend most of your time in this game levelling up your proficiency in the professions that you chose to take on, and sadly not much else outside of that. In my case, this was predominantly crafting, as that is what was recommended to me. Crafting can honestly be a bit of a pain …
PEAK GAME IF YOU LIKE FARMING SIM...CHARACTERS I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! Although i must say one downside is how annoying to farm some of the resources, and that you cannot really bring your crafting tables.etc with you is what really made me get tired of this game, otherwise its super peak, kinda wish the characters have more interactions with the mc that's all p.s this game successfully distracted me from playing arena breakout infinite
The amount of times i went "how is this the first game with x feature" is baffling and this game isnt even out of early access. Great for the Portia and Sandrock crowd.
