This game has everything you want. Steve Fawkner has created a Gem! You've got town management, you've got troops management (the transport system is unique up today!), you've got Heros to level up, there's already a simple but important money management, you've got great fantasy troops, Quests and Hidden Treasures. All that makes up for the old graphics, which are really cool and way bette rthan many new games out there who people play and like. I love every part of this game!2 found this helpful

I've played hundreds of hours of Warlords 2 since the 1990s. I bought it on Steam, just to support the developer. One of my top 5 games of all time. I've tried Warlords 3 but keep coming back to Warlords 2. Never played Warlords 4 but I hope to get around to it when it comes out here on Steam. Note: I had to mess around with the warlords-2-graphics.conf file to get it to run in full screen properly on my computer. Here's what I edited: [sdl] fullscreen=false fulldouble=false fullresolution=1024x768 windowresolution=1280x960 output=opengl sensitivity=100,135 I recommend using AI to help you configure it. That's what I did and it worked out great.
Warlords II reminds me of childhood and its still funny.
