Disciples II: Gallean's Return

Well it says 412 hours, but this is Steam only. Disciples II is my all time favorite game. I used to have it on CD and played it on so many different PCs and laptops. The biggest appeal is that every race places completely different. They have their individual strengths and weaknesses and require a significantly different playstyle. Leaders carry over during the Saga (Story), gradually getting stronger and stronger. And one of my most favorite aspects of this game are the unit trees. For pretty much every unit, you have an individual unit tree. Selecting one locks you out from the alternatives for this mission. Do you pick a healer which focuses on 1 troop and heals a lot, or do you pick a priestess instead which heals everyone in your army (max 6 including leader) and much lower HP. Currently on a new playthrough, doing this every few years. ;)

I have no idea how I was playing this when I was 7 years old. I'm getting murdered out here!

Fun game, I like the art style and the creativity. The story is interesting and engaging, and the factions are all fun to play as. Works shockingly well on the Steam Deck, though it's not 100% optimized.

Don't bother with this one. It freezes on the very 1st mission. Cannot get it to work.

The game does not work. When I start a map I can see the screen and hear the music but everything is simply frozen. A pity this is an interesting game but without any modern support. Steam should not sell unsupported games.
