The Hand of Glory earns praise from adventure game fans for its engaging story, likeable characters, substantial length, and well-crafted puzzles that challenge without frustrating. However, some players criticize the visual presentation as garish and poorly executed, find the dialogue uninspired, and feel the slow movement mechanics make the game tedious to play through despite its narrative appeal.
The Hand of Glory, developed by Madit Entertainment and Daring Touch, is a lovingly crafted point-and-click adventure that combines the spirit of classic detective stories with an undercurrent of mystery and the supernatural. It tells the story of Lazarus Bundy, a disgraced Miami detective whose career has been overshadowed by failure and self-doubt. When the disappearance of a wealthy young woman, Kathrin Mulzberg, crosses his path, Lazarus sees a chance for redemption. What begins as a routine investigation quickly expands into something far larger—a web of intrigue that spans continents, delving into ancient secrets, shadowy organizations, and moral conflicts that test the limits of reason and belief. At first glance, The Hand of Glory feels like a return to the golden era of adventure gaming. Its hand-drawn visuals, layered puzzles, and methodical pacing all echo the traditions of genre classics like Gabriel Knight or Broken Sword. The art style immediately captures attention: colorful but grounded, with a slightly stylized approach that emphasizes…4 found this helpful
A real hidden gem! The story is really interesting, and the characters are really likeable. I'm surprised by the length too, you get a lot of bang for your buck! I recommend it for anyone who likes classic point and click adventure games. The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible.2 found this helpful

Got way more out of it than expected. The visuals are obviously low budget, yet there was a clear effort to animate many environmental interactions and cutscenes.
I really enjoyed the game. Looking forward to the sequel!
I loved point and click adventure games since ever. Was happy about this game´s approach to remind us of the old Broken Sword games, BUT. This game hurts to play. Worst of all was the "art". Drawings are just terrible and it hurt my eyes after some time. It is just one big colourful, ugly and tasteless mess with no depth to the scene. Movement is very slow and annoying. Dialogues are boring. It all just feels extremely cheap and painful.
