About Roots in the Sky - The Hand of Glory 2
Five years.Five years on the run, spent hiding from surveillance cameras, police checks ... and friends. In an attempt to elude the cult that's been chasing him, former Miami detective Lazarus “Lars” Bundy is in Italy working incognito for a security agency when his client is murdered in cold blood by a sharpshooter. As the blood stain slowly spreads on the victim's clothes, Lars realizes there is only one way to keep his past from catching up with him: solve the case before the police and bring the perpetrator to justice as quickly and silently as possible.
A senseless murder, conflicting clues and an indistinct lead will thrust the former detective on another thrilling journey around the world, from majestic Rome to the Land of the Rising Sun by way of Jordan and India. With help from an old ally he thought he’d left behind for good, Lars finds himself swept up in a case far more complex and dangerous than he ever could have imagined, filled with international mystery and mysticism. And all the while, a much more personal danger lurks close at hand, one that Lars is determined to suppress and keep hidden from the world.
A new point-and-click adventure game inspired by the golden age classics such as Broken Sword and Gabriel Knight Compelling blend of comedy, supernatural mystery, and conspiracy-steeped intrigue Alternate control between Lars and his returning cohort Alice Challenging but logical puzzles seamlessly integrated into the story Explore more than 50 stylish hand-drawn HD locations across Rome, Jordan, India and Japan Original atmospheric soundtrack and full English voice-overs (with German and Italian subtitles) Sequel to the acclaimed "The Hand of Glory" (95% positive reviews on Steam), though no prior familiarity is necessary

I have been playing only for a few hours, but I can already praise the game's superb quality! The graphics and animations are great! It feels very Broken Sword-ish! A must play for any fan of the adventure genre!2 found this helpful
A lot of love was put into this game. The puzzles are great. I didn’t like the ending, but overall it was worth the time I spent playing it.2 found this helpful
Worth the wait, huge upgrade in graphics, although the move from the two button system to the more complex controls takes some getting used to on PC1 found this helpful
I think I am halfway through the game and I want to say that this game is beautiful in all the ways possible. Great story, dialogue, puzzles, It reminds me of the oldschool Broken Sword, even Deponia a little. The main characters ar so lovable, you don't see that in games lately. I adore everything about it. I am playing it for 1-2 hours/day in order to not finish it so fast :)). Point and click fans, buy this and the first one and you will not regret it, believe me. Great job devs! I am waiting for the next one! The only CON for me is that I will eventualy finish the game. P.S I whish there was a unplay machine for games so that you can forget and enjoy again the experience!1 found this helpful
In the beginning of the game, Lars keeps wondering what he could have done to blow his cover. Meanwhile, he's standing there in the same red scarf and gloves that he wore in the first game. Only this time he's added an even more ridiculous top hat. Every person he meets comments on his fashion choices. He couldn't be more conspicuous if he yelled out his name and address to everyone he saw. Oh and he chose to "hide out" as a tour guide in the center of Rome. His clients are people who like to take pictures. Then there's his favorite cafe near the most visited tourist site in Italy. I'm not sure if the developers were being funny with this or not. But it's still hilarious.
Just finished the game and it was a long one.It took me 22 hours. I absolutely loved it.Great graphics and voice acting and the puzzles were at just the right level for me,not too hard and not too easy. I would thoroughly recommend it and cant wait for the next game.
