The Stairway 7 - Anomaly Hunt Loop Horror Game

The room containing the anomalies is very small. The manner of clearing them is annoying and time-consuming, requiring you to go all the way back down to the previous floor and then proceed through the floor that had the anomaly in it. Once you realize that the anomalies are not random, it just becomes tedious.

i absolutely loved this game! the part at the end was honestly an amazing addition to the game. one thing that i didnt understand with the anomalies was the shadows part, besides that i loved the game!:)

Should be called Poop Your Pants, but I finished it.

Definitely one of the better and more narrative-driven anomaly games I've come across—at least as narrative-driven as a game in this genre can reasonably be. The 70-floor stairwell setting, combined with the anomaly-clearing mechanic, felt different from what I'm used to seeing in these types of games, and I found that change refreshing. The relatively small area that needed to be examined on each floor made the prospect of clearing 70 levels feel far less daunting than it initially seemed. Furthermore, the fact that the entire game doesn't reset after a mistake (unless you're playing on Hardcore Mode) makes the experience significantly less tedious than many other anomaly games. As a result, progression feels much more rewarding and far less repetitive. The game also features a cat. that's always a good decision by any game developer.

If you pet the cat, everything will be okay. :) I did enjoy this short horror game. I think there is one fatal flaw, which is *SPOILERS* - - - - that the anomalies aren't randomized. But I still would recommend it!
