About Ashen Will
A corridor stretching endlessly ahead. A fog creeping at the corners of your vision. A camera, heavy, thick, old, weighing down your hand. And the sound of crying in the distance, growing ever closer
Ashen Will is an atmospheric horror game in which you must traverse a dark, randomly generated maze, taking photos of invisible enemies to grab a precious few seconds before death. Your only tool for hope is your camera, granting you the ability to freeze enemies in place, and mark corridors you've traveled down. But film is finite and precious, and even the best run can still end painfully quickly. We wish you the best of luck...you'll need it

Played for a few minutes, died and the game won't play again. Said something about the servers being down. The audio seems backwards and I do have my headset on correctly. The headbob is dizzying. Why do games have headbob? There were no cues when I died, the screen just went black and gave me an achievement for accuracy. A very meh experience.2 found this helpful
Cool little game with simple mechanics. Stripped down but has a nice atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the sound design.1 found this helpful
With the head bob patch removal, this game became accessible to me. Though I find the creature acts oddly at times. I had a horrible 6 dog tag run, found all but 1 of them, and ran out of film. With my last desperate attempt at getting past the creature, I snapped my last shot as I was crammed in a corner with no way out. When I took the photo I saw the shadow, right in front of me in a corridor with no other way around it. I stood there, expecting my death. Blissful acceptance. It was bliss, until for some reason I did not die. 10/10 would be made a mockery of by invisible creatures again.
spooky maze game with spooky sounds and spooky atmosphere. is good.
An interesting maze game with hidden enemies that I found oddly unnerving. The limited resources of film help build tension and the monotonous walls set up an almost claustrophobic feeling. Easy to understand, easy to play, and has a good price. Also, NO JUMP SCARES!
