About HELPLESS
You must find a way to escape the abandoned hospital. Proceed with caution, however. You are not alone. Explore every corner to find the necessary "KEY" items to progress further. Be sure to pick up the notes, they may serve a purpose...

Starts off creepy especially if you have the grain filter on and then once you discover the enemy you realise that he is a moron with horrible "AI". Too bad... but it's $2, so there you go.4 found this helpful
If you visually enjoy old style looking horror games, then this is for you. The game mechanics feel good, despite it looking visually old. The atmosphere is there, but that is mainly it for this game. It is short and simple game as it stands. I will say that the person chasing you isn't terrifying. The fear factor is lost if you look on how he chases you. Although, I would run away and find myself looking back. This in turn scared me due to me believing I had lost him. Overall it's an okay game.3 found this helpful
Yes, the game is cheap, but I've seen better (and longer) games that are completely free. While it's not a total disaster, it's just extremely short, boring and badly executed horror game. I've picked this title mostly for the low-fi presentation which I like, unfortunately it looks good only on the screenshots. In game the low resolution together with bad lighting and the flashlight that doesn't cover much of the area result in a game that doesn't show you much and what you see is often not worth looking at. You explore 1 small area, you pick and then use about 5-6 items across the whole game, you find few notes that have nothing to say about the story and during this 30 minutes long journey you encounter just one enemy, who is in fact very easy to avoid (at first I let him catch me, just to see what will happen and I had to start from the beginning - which means that without repeating that initial part the overall game lenght would drop to 20 minutes or so... just WOW!). So in summation Helpless is more like a shallow, empty and boring game demo that you have to pay for, knowing that the full game is not going to be released - and in fact after playing this "demo" you know exacte…3 found this helpful
What a waste of my time and money. Game Play This game lacks basic concepts used in other horror games. Such as an inventory system for example. Why can't we have one? Since we pick up items it makes sense to do so. All keys use the same name, same color, same shape,so you might think that you can access what ever door you want. Wrong! Each key only works on a specific door. How do you tell which key might open what door? You can't. You end up going to each locked door testing each one out. This game also suffers from key hunt syndrome. Basically the entire game is just a hunt to grab items, there is nothing else. One of the ways good horror games try to mix this up by implementing puzzles. This would have prevented the game from being so repetive. The AI is your generic almost bare bones NPC. The villain is also generic and run of the mill. Is it really that hard to create an enemy that isn't just your average psychopath with a weapon. Sound design wise I think it was ok. The chase theme was really effective at some points. But the music just abruptly ends after you escape the antagonist. Which kinda kills the fear that this game is supposed to provide. The ambiance so…1 found this helpful
This "game" feels like a student project, for a game that's only two dollars it still manages to feel like a cash grab, an utter waste of time. The game isn't interesting, and isn't worth your time. This is a good start for a first game, but should you buy it? Hell no, this is someone's first asset flip, and I hope the creator continues to create games, but this is exactly as I described, a start. Anyone reading this could most likely make something using Unity within a day and get more from it. I 100 percent the game, so there is nothing more to this "game" than what is shown in the trailer, it really is that short and that bland.
