A TWISTED PLACE is a 2.5D Single-Player Horror game with multiple chapters that alternates between Side-view and 1st person gameplay for a scarier experience. Find your way through a nightmare unlike anything you've ever experienced before. In this unconventional horror game you'll have to survive as best as you can while being surrounded by horrors beyond human comprehension. Interact with the environment to solve puzzles and to find tools, information and secrets.The gameplay length is around 3 hours. You're constantly hunted by cursed entities that lurk in the darkness. Your only option is to run and hide before you get caught, whether it’s hiding under a bed, slipping into a closet, or crouching behind debris, the environment becomes your lifeline.You'll need to explore and interact with your surroundings to find tools and gather information needed to progress. Every room, drawer, and hidden corner could hold something important. Along the way you can also discover secrets and collectibles.Your ultimate goal is to escape from the place that traps you. The horrors you encounter are relentless, and the only way to survive is to find a way out.

A Twisted Place is a psychological, 2.5D, point and click, horror game. In this game your character explores small houses, cabins, a forest, a hospital, and a liminal space indoor playground area. There are various small interesting puzzles to solve, items to find, and enemies to stealthily evade. The game takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. There are no Steam Achievements. + The game is seriously creepy at times. + Great world building and environments. Excellent art direction. + Buckets and Buckets of disturbing gore for the gore hounds. + The use of sound in this game is exceptional. A few times I actually looked behind me thinking something was in my computer room. + Several of the puzzles are quite original. +/- The story is a bit of a mystery as you play, but the ending is a bit of a letdown. No twists or turns or anything exciting story wise as you play through the game. - Chapter 2 has a really annoying stealth section that took me 7-10 tries to complete. You must wear headphones in this game for full effect, and to hear where the enemies are. - Your character moves a bit too slow. i played this game a few months back on stream, i thought the concept behind it was so interesting! I dont normally leave reviews. Because im forgetful. but my friend asked for "obscure horror" reccs and i instantly thought of this gem! To the dev: wonderful concept, I look forward to your future endeavors :)1 found this helpful
I like the ideas and the art style. I haven't played it very long yet but there are already a lot of issues mechanically. Lots of little things feel awkward. When I quit the game it exits to desktop instead of main menu with no warning my progress would be lost so now I have to restart chapter one. The movement feels awkward, the way the lighting/ shadows switch as you look left to right feels unnatural and jarring. Lots of little details just feel jarring and mechanically awkward. All that said I still really love the art style and the game feels genuinely creepy and unnerving. I'm looking forward to putting more time in to finish it at some point.1 found this helpful

Cool walking simulator. I love the exploration. So much creativity into it. The horror aspect is 5/10. The gore is 8/10.
