In the year 1015, in the Republic of Cyptnnia...A few hours before dawn, Ordin Gilbellt visits a graveyard, carrying a bouquet for his younger brother, Yannis Gilbellt, who died in the great fire of Cyptnnia in 986 at the age of five. Although 29 years have passed since the tragedy, Ordin has never forgotten the pain of losing his only brother.
In the still of the night, his prayers are interrupted by the sound of a bell. But this time, it doesn't ring just to announce the time; it tolls loudly and repeatedly, signaling that danger is coming to the city.
Soon, Ordin realizes he is being ambushed by an unknown army. He must return to the city to save his homeland and find answers: who is attacking him, who leads the cult, and why do they want him dead? Little does he know, this is only the beginning of his longest nightmare.

Putting a review up for this lost build engine cousin, as it draws more than a little from Blood. This game has a fun arsenal and some enemies who probably skipped the class on cliffs.3 found this helpful
A really underrated fps thats a medieval gzdoom version of blood, amazing weapons, pretty good enemies, only issue is that the bosses are tanky as everlasting ♥♥♥♥, but def a great time. Played on the hardest difficulty and it was really fun. Highly recommend especially if your into build engine games.2 found this helpful

This game is amazing. An obvious Heretic inspiration, but I like that. I also love the weapons and how unique they are. It isn't your typical staffs or magical abilities where the "weapon" sprite is just hands with some magic. $20 is a bit steep for this kind of game. But I got it on sale for $14 and it's definitely worth at least $15. I'm a sucker for GZ Doom games and this one is great. Buy it!1 found this helpful

I don't even know where to begin with this game. I've put quite a few hours into it and overall I like it but there are some areas where it felt a bit lackluster. The Good: - THE SOUNDTRACK. The music is so good! Ambient yet catchy! - The weapons are a ton of fun. Each has an alternate fire. The cannon, for example, does cluster bombs after firing an explosion and its fun to watch enemies get anniliated. - The maps*. Some of the secrets are really creative and the map areas look really cool for a Doom-engine shooter. - Neat cutscenes that aren't usually seen in boomer shooters. Bad: - The maps. While the maps aren't bad on their own, they always have an easy passageway back to the beginning or other parts of the level. In theory this should make traversing the map super quick. In reality, this makes the maps extremely confusing and can cause the player to end up walking in loops and getting confused as to whether this area is one they've revisited yet or not. - The game crashed after beating E2M8. This might be because I'm on Linux but I hadn't had any issues on any other parts of the game, cutscene or otherwise but some reason after defeating the Raven Queen or w…
