✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's distinctive art style and atmospheric storytelling, comparing it favorably to works like Fallen London with an engaging mystery tone. However, common complaints include technical issues with the save system that doesn't load to intended checkpoints, translation problems, and a desire for more satisfying endings with deeper character backstories and visual variety like protagonist portraits or subtle background animations.

For disclosure, I got a copy from my steam group. The more visual novels I play, the more I realize that having a good presentation and also rewarding the reader with constant visual stimulation is such a big part of the experience, and while a decent story can help you to overlook other aspects of the game, I think you really need to make sure that your art always accompanies what is being told in the story, that way the reader is always looking forward to the next panel, you don't want him to feel like half of the experience is missing. For example, I am always so broken whenever I start a visual novel, and there is so little to see in the cover art, that should be the nicest picture in your entire game if you ask me, same as you would want a nice cover for a fantasy book, it's part of the allure. Now don't get me wrong, I don't really mind the art style in this game, if anything, I kinda like it, but there is not enough art in general, most of the endings end with a blurry background, with a few exceptions. If you look at it from my perspective, if I am playing a text game, having a nicely illustrated ending is my reward for making that journey, it should not be just another ba…

Early Access Review: Visuals I like the art style. I think it fits the setting well. I was drawn to this game because of it :) I really wanted there to be a portrait of the protagonist. Also, even with static pictures, adding an effect where the background sways a little can create the illusion of a living space. Same with some fog or other kind of filter effect. Setting I think the novel is set in Turkey? I'm not sure. But obviously we encounter some really different names. It's great! To help me with the immersion, I wanted to know where I was. Story The story was quite good. It was above my expectations and reminded me of weird tales from the 1920s and the tone of "Fallen London". I could feel that the writer is someone of exceptional talent. I would come back to read other works by them. Things to consider: I quickly got the feeling that all endings would be bad or tragic, and therefore, predictable. I think any ending is okay so long as it is interesting. Personally, I would prefer endings that are framed around clear goals: "destroy the shop", "become the new shop owner", "perform a favor for 'the woman' ", "romance 'the woman' ", "rescue a soul", "steal something and c…

Amazing story game! With the minor spelling errors, it's really easy to get the 99% of the game. I will get you eventually last part, I promise!!! *shakes fist* The game was enjoyable, visuals were nice, and it was such a nice time to play it on the stream with my community trying to help me out, haha! 9/10, I recommend the game. Gave me about 4 hours overall of Trial-and-Error until I tried to get them all. Good job devs, this game needs more recognition.

Pros: - Length, pretty short for a visual novel in my experience - Original art/paintings? - Creepy atmosphere Cons: - English translation isn't the greatest - Save system is messed up! For anyone planning on playing this, know that any save you do, when trying to load that save it will just bring you back to the last save time and not when you actually saved it. :( - The endings are... endings... but there isn't any that are satisfying like figuring out the true origin of the character we meet in the shop, more of her backstory, etc. - No achievements
