About Shadow Uprising
Shadow Uprising is a single player, post apocalyptic stealth game, designed exclusively for virtual reality systems. You play a cybernetically enhanced ninja whose goal is to overthrow the oppressive AI overlord. Along your journey you’ll discover long forgotten secrets, recover ancient artifacts, and help save what remains of humanity.
- Completely unrestricted mobility. Whether using traditional locomotion, hooking from one wall to another, or climbing freely, nothing can stop you from reaching your destination.
- Stealth Gameplay. A robust stealth and detection system allows the player to distract, outsmart, and out-maneuver any guard.
- Sneak Attacks. With a swift slice of a sword, the player can quickly and efficiently assassinate any unsuspecting guard.
- Complete Combat System. Assassinations are most commonly the answer, but nothing stops a brave player from dashing into combat with both swords drawn.
- Customizable Loadout. Featuring 8 different upgrades ranging from long range shurikens, kunais that emit vision-blocking clouds of smoke, to a bow that can stop time itself while drawn.
- Secrets & Lore. Find over 30 carefully hidden secrets throughout the game to learn about the tragic history that lead to the establishment of the Shadow Uprising.
- Epic Boss Fight. The most dedicated of ninjas will face the AI itself in an epic boss fight that is literally out of this world.

While short, this game is worth every penny. And if you play to the end you are rewarded with the most satisfying VR boss fight that I have seen.2 found this helpful
The game itself is very short (completed in 2 sessions total of 1,5 hr) but at a cheap price its a good short fun. Most of my problems came form playing with 1 base station, otherwise didn't encounter any bugs. + Astonishingly quick load times between level + Simple gameplay + Some variant in levels + Gives out a vibe like early 90' / 00' games (in terms of simplicity) + The art style reminds me of XIII - Only 2 main types of enemies (shooters, drone) - Short levels - throwing stuff is mostly inaccurate and hard to aim2 found this helpful

This is a nice new indie game and is definitely worth the 6,59€ they are charging for it. The locations are a little repetetive, but the gaming mechanic is fresh and modern. The final level was crazy even for a seasoned VR player :D Sometimes it's not immediatelly clear what you're supposed to do, there is a tutorial system in the first levels, but in the boss fight, you have to figure it out all by yourself. Not necesarily a bad thing - but this game expects you to handle your stuff ;) My stats say I have finished this in little over 4 hours and that was while streaming it and reacting to chat.1 found this helpful
Ninjaaaaaaaa, GOOOOOO!!! "Budget Cuts... Part 1/2" (one-half) Amazing stealth gameplay, interesting tools to unlock, really wish the first 3 levels weren't just suburbs. Finally got to level 4 and it puts you in a sewer where you can use the trash piles to stealth around... pretty cool! Bottom line: fancy levels with fun mechanics and tools with kind of an interesting storyline. Bad part: the music is kind of the same for every level (at least up till level 5 as far as i can tell), and the first 3 can be repetitive in the gameplay. Spoilers: . . . . . Level 5 starts you in the city.
A pretty basic VR stealth indie game with linear levels and rudimentary AI, but still fun enough to play through when its on sale if you want to scratch a VR stealth inch. The final boss is indeed a banger, one of the best boss fights I've experienced in VR.
