About UNDETECTED

Yucatan, Mexico – June 07, 2063. A cell of the revolutionary group ‘Los Desplazados’, including their leader Gloria, has gone missing while on operations around the site of the Chicxulub Perpetual Energy Station.
Tenoch Kaan, a Desplazados rebel and reformed agent of the shadowy CIMACORP group, is deployed to find Gloria and her team. Fitted with the latest in biotechnological enhancements, Kaan’s mission is to find the missing Desplazados without alerting CIMACORP to his presence.
Key Features
- Stay hidden: Avoid detection by hiding in the shadows and staying out of sight. Turn off lights and create dark areas to sneak through. Be careful not to leave footprints.

- Use sound wisely: Every footstep, surface, weapon and item can make a noise that will attract enemy attention. Stay as silent as possible, or use sound tactically to gain an advantage.
- Scout mode: Slow the action and assess the lay out of an area with an augmented top-down view of your surroundings. Observe enemy positions and plan your next move.
- Non-lethal action: Deadly force is not permitted. Instead, use stealth to avoid enemies, or melee attacks and an array of weapons to incapacitate and immobilize them.

- Tactical tools: Use a variety of non-lethal bullets and explosives. Includes rubber bullets that can be fired at light switches, and a slime explosive used to mute the sound of footsteps.
- Rescue captives: Find Desplazados members captured by CIMACORP to increase your max health, max batteries (used for armor and to restore health), and to gain key cards (used to access more areas).
- Difficulty modes: Choose from four scaling levels of challenge. From a forgiving and relaxed stealth experience, all the way to ‘Mexican Extreme’, which wipes your save if an alert is triggered!

I would be irate if I had spent $14 on this game. Thank God I got it in a mystery bundle. Runs like a washing machine filled with rocks. I'll stick to MGSV: TTP (on high settings).1 found this helpful

Pros: - Pretty simple, pick up and play, top-down stealth game inspired by Metal Gear Solid. Cons: - Tutorial doesn't tell you all of the important tips until a few sections in. (example: using shift to go into first person would have been nice to know during the beginning of the tutorial instead of 3 sections in after getting spotted by enemies I couldn't see off camera. - Unlike Metal Gear Solid there's no mini-map so you have to rely on what you can see. - Awkward keyboard controls that cannot be changed. Conclusion: Pick it up on sale or in a bundle if you're interested. It's not a terrible game, but it could use some QOL changes to make it a solid MGS inspired Stealth Game.
Got this from a Fanatical Mystery Bundle and wow, this is bad. I thought I got lucky at first because the concept looked surprisingly decent, but within the first 10 seconds I got stuck against a pole with no way to get free and had to restart the game. Not a great first impression. Even the premise feels half-baked. The game takes place in a futuristic world ravaged by global warming where Americans have moved south as refugees, but that setup immediately raised questions for me. Mexico is generally farther south and closer to the equator, so the idea that fleeing farther south would automatically be the better option in a climate-collapse future feels like a pretty big leap. It made the worldbuilding feel less thought-out than it probably needed to be. The biggest issue is still the controls. The top-down view feels very poorly implemented, with an extremely narrow field of view. For a stealth game, not being able to clearly see what is ahead of you is a huge problem. I honestly think this would have worked much better with a camera closer to a third-person angle. Combat also feels terrible. If enemies spot me and I shoot at them, it feels like I am hitting them with an airso…
Undetected is a short little stealth romp, with decent gameplay and presentation. One of Antonio Freyre's earlier games; it's a little rougher around the edges. For fans of Splinter Cell and early MGS, Undetected is worth your time.
