✦ AI summary

Players appreciate Euclidean Lands' creative perspective-shifting puzzle mechanics and art style, comparing it favorably to Monument Valley, but are divided on execution. Common complaints include clunky or unintuitive controls (especially on PC), a poorly designed UI with tedious menu navigation, frequent bugs, and puzzle design that becomes repetitive without offering satisfying eureka moments, with many achievement challenges focused narrowly on move limits rather than creative problem-solving.

perspective jiggery-pokery is always a great idea for a puzzler, rubik's cubes less so, as far as I'm concerned. gotta help the girl trapped on sometimes pretty cool landscapes reach the exit, ideally with relatively few moves, though there's no hard limit and rotations don't count, only steps. enemies have to be disposed of first, position her next to but not in front of them and bob's your uncle. or agent 47, as it's reminiscent of hitman go. smashing them with the scenery is neat but dying yourself is an instant level reset. they start moving later on and there are big-ass dragons doing other stuff. the so-called tutorial doesn't show or teach anything, just 15 regular levels from the mobile-only sequel, euclidean lands. the main game has 39 stages (not 40), unlocked one after the other. early levels actually tutorialize a bit, so might as well start there. or just read the hints for every stage, they mostly talk about basic mechanics that should've been mentioned without a hint button. they're also buggy like everything else here, don't play well with the already buggy level select, plus have to be re-revealed after a reset. and contain mobile language like tap. I really want to like this game because I loved Monument valley, the game probably most similar to this in terms of gameplay. The one thing holding me back from that is the extremely clunky movement of the cube. The art style is great, but the ui is lacking, with the pause menu's level select feeling very unintuitive to use. I do enjoy the challenges but having to open the menu to see what it is each level is tedious. to my disappointment, I really don't think I can keep playing this game with how frustrating controls are on pc

Euclidean Skies demonstrates how far a puzzle game can go when it is built around a single creative idea and commits to exploring it fully. Developed and published by Miro Straka, this atmospheric title expands on the concepts introduced in Euclidean Lands and places players in a world of floating islands, impossible architecture, and carefully constructed tactical challenges. Rather than emphasizing narrative or spectacle, the game focuses on delivering a thoughtful experience where every action is deliberate and every puzzle feels handcrafted. Its combination of turn-based movement, environmental manipulation, and strategic combat gives it a unique identity among modern puzzle games. At its core, Euclidean Skies revolves around navigating intricate structures suspended high above the clouds. Players control a heroine who must traverse platforms, avoid hazards, outmaneuver enemies, and ultimately reach the end of each stage. What separates the game from more conventional puzzle adventures is the ability to rotate and reposition entire sections of the environment. Towers shift, pathways emerge, and perspectives change as players interact with the world. This mechanic transforms ev…

Imagine if Professor Rubik got into a bar fight with a Samurai and they decided to settle their differences by designing a video game. The result is Euclidean Skies. It’s the only game that makes you feel like a mathematical ninja, gliding through shattered worlds where your primary combat move is rearranging the architecture until the bad guy is standing on a wall wondering why "down" just became "left."

It was fine. The mechanic itself is cool, but it gets repetitive pretty quickly. Most of the achievements are "finish the level in X moves" which, again, is cool in the beginning but gets annoying if you're trying to go for all the achievements

The game has unique puzzle mechanics that work well. The puzzles aren't overly complex to the point they are impossible. Most of them can be solved within the move limit by intuitively moving the blocks until you get it in a workable place & I never had a eureka moment in solving the puzzle. The controls work fine & I have no idea what other people are talking about when they say the controls are confusing. When you click & hold on a block, the game clearly shows which directions you can drag it. Maybe the dev added that after the reviews. There are issues with bugs which are fairly frequent but they aren't game breaking. There are issues where blocks will moves through things they aren't supposed to & I even had a bug where the enemies got stuck in mid air. Sometimes it can mess up the configuration & you have to restart the level to fix it.
