About Pixel Sentry

Do you have nothing to do?

Don't want to load up a game where it takes a while to get into it?

Well here is the perfect solution for you.

Pixel sentry is a wave based game that requires skill and luck.

It is a perfect game for someone that needs something fast to jump into.
It's a game that you will be able to speed run but you will also be able to just chill play the game.

This game is worth it's price. Think about every time you are waiting and have nothing to do. Then you can just jump into Pixel Sentry and do a fast game.

The game is about shooting enimies that fly against you.
In the middle and at the end of every round you will get some crates. The brown crates will give you powerups like more health more damage or more attack speed. The Gold crates will give you more powerfull powerups that can be combined with other powerups. And then the red crates takes away 2 health but they have a chanse to give you a really good powerup.

Each game is about 100s depending if you speed up the game. And the game has 10 rounds right now. And after the 10 rounds you will start a infinit loop until you run out of health.

At the end of every game you will get coins. The amount of coins is determined by how long you got into the game. And with the coins you can by new centrys.

✦ AI summary

Pixel Sentry is a well-balanced roguelike with lots of items and satisfying combo potential that keeps players coming back for short sessions. Players appreciate the variety of builds, progression through unlocks, good music, and quick pickup-and-play nature, though they note the artwork is rough around the edges and success heavily depends on getting lucky with item drops. It's recommended as a fun time-filler for those who enjoy item-based roguelikes, though it may not appeal to players who dislike relying on RNG for viable builds.

So about Pixel Sentry. It´s a game that has its ups and downs but still makes me want to go back to it. The game is well balanced with a lot of items. No round will look the same. It will either be different types of enemies or you will get different types of items. You will need luck with the items you get. If you don´t get a good build it will be hard to compleat the game. So if you don´t like the types of games where you need to re roll to get the perfect items then this is not your type of game. Pros: Well balanced A lot of items items does combo Many hours of content A lot of easy achievments Quick game to jump into Cons: The artwork is not perfect Hard in the start but you learn quick

Decent. Rougelike with some fun and interesting items. In my first game I had trees firing from planet which homed in on enemies and grew in size. Fun when you got those combos, otherwise its like an arcade game with quirky graphics. But still fun, if you like item-based games where you get upgrades which enhances you it could be ok, when your waiting for friends and such. Pros: - fun combos - somewhat varying enemies - quite a lot of items and sentries to unlock by playing, so some proggression - Loths of achivements - Nice music Cons: - Shoddy graphics, a bit miss mashed. Would recommend if you need a game to fill the time. Or if your looking for a couple of hours of fun. Otherwise give it a pass

Just a fun and simple rougelike with a unique arcade feel, a nice game to play when you have nothing else to do.
