[i]A Waste of Good Art Assets[/i] Straight to the bottom line here. The only thing holding this game up is the art, which is what initially drew me in to give it a chance. However, the game play is so barebones that there is virtually no strategic decision making. Damage is vanilla; nothing is strong or weak against anything else. One character stat is borderline broken if you focus on it. There are so many technical failings from the one sided attacker initiated battles, lack of fog of war, massive imbalance between player and enemy power, and enemy AI that barely does anything; its all just a disaster. Avoid this title.

I don't want to kill villagers just to have someone join my party. This sucks. Who thought it would be enjoyable or challenging to kill old limping men? Or ladies with rolling pins? What the heck!!!!! Worst Game Ever!!!

It's really bad. There's barely any game in this game.

This game kinda blows lol. It has very little feedback on what you do, the maps are all over the place and enemies rush you only once you enter their range, trivializing the encounters. No events during maps, unnecessary randomized crafting, mind numbingly tedious story beats and quite drab presentation to boot. The only saving grace are the portraits.

Honestly I'm kinda torn between giving it the thumbs up or down...for a game that I pretty much got for $1 after 90% discount and bundle discount, ok. No bugs. I guess that in itself gets it almost a pass, sadly, the game isn't a lot of fun. Very flat, but it fits into the genres it advertises. Not a whole lot of excitement, it is bug-free and it sorta tells a story, but very lacking in elements of gameplay. I really have to rag a bit on the writing of this game's story, character, and world-building. It's pretty not-fleshed out. I won't compare it to other games that have much more worthy design for the same price points, but this felt like their storyboard writers forgot everything they planned to make after the opening scene,(dementia maybe?) and just rushed to put out a game because their fop of a boss in a set of neon-yellow colored pants didn't plan out a budget to hire or retain a team for this game. They had a nice history for the opening built. A lot they could have done with it, then they gave us crappy characters with half-baked character bios.
