While of course there's pay to play elements. The bulk of the game allows players to enjoy and play events without being forced to pay for each event.1 found this helpful

I f love this game
I avoid gacha games but the pixel art compelled me to try this one and I'm glad I did. Day 13, near the end of the honeymoon period, so here's my review: This game is very F2P friendly. The devs aren't drug dealers giving you a free taste of easy content until you hit a pay wall. You aren't spammed with "deals" like its Temu. Most of the deals in the shop are actually terrible btw. FOMO is manageable because if you miss out on a new character you'll have a chance at a stronger unit in 2 or 4 weeks. Power creep is real. Plus there are anniversary and holiday events with free summons for older units. The game offers a long campaign mode with branching storylines and decisions that really matter, all with no gacha. So you have access to a full tactical RPG for FREE in addition to all the live service content. My only warning to you is that the game can feel like a chore list as you collect materials and in-game currency with limited energy to spend to initiate battles. I'm already looking for ways to spend as little time as possible playing the game...and it's only week 2.
The most interactive and realistic turn-based RPG i have played so far.
