The game has a nice soundtrack and a cute and charming art style. Just finished the first world section facing the boss and I've found the gameplay so far very enjoyably and fun. I like the gameplay flexibility offered to the player of speedrunning to the space gem, ending the level or going around the platform level collecting and staying everything to maximize your score. I really like that part because to me it helps with the replay-ability of both the levels and the game as a whole. :)1 found this helpful
A lovely platforming time!
This game is pretty good, not a game reviewer but if i like it, i'll give it a thumbs up which in this case I do.
👍
I got this game to give a dev feedback on stream...but I'm going to share some of it here too. What a cute game! I love the retro-feel artwork and the player sprite is adorable. I enjoyed the variety in how the player moves/acts and there was enough challenge to keep my interest. I was surprised with
a little voice acting in there
too. That gave me Saturday morning cartoon vibes. Controller support would be nice (or better shown if there) for this type of game but I still give it a 9/10.
It's a fun little platformer; 60 levels if you can call that little. It is definitely not easy in places and ignoring the few bugs I encountered it plays just fine. The difficulty isn't from any sort of poor controls, but rather finding the best way to approach some of the longer or more complicated levels. The story is simple and easy to follow with nice voice acting, but at times it feels like this could be a second game in a series due to how familiar characters are with each other. At the moment I would like to see an extras / bonus section on the menu for art, basic world info, and short character backgrounds (like where they are from, how they know X character, and a few simple bits of info about them). Other than that it's a fun game and a great start considering it's a first. It's not a ten out of ten game, but overall not bad. I wouldn't give it less than a seven. Great job, I looking forward to more in the future.
