This game is so bad that it becomes somewhat funny. 90% of the gameplay can be seen in the trailer. In the end you simply glitch your way under the dragon and cut his balls off, idk, I skipped through the dialogues.2 found this helpful
King of Dragon Balls casts you as the prince tasked by the royal wizard to get some dragon eggs and save the princess. The dialogue is littered with what seems like a bad translation to English (if not the case then penned by a five year old) with a conclusion that leads to shenanigans. The controls for this title are fine when it comes to walking and jumping, but are rather clunky for how simplistic they function (three swings then a pause prior to a fourth to round out the combo). Despite having a shield there seems to be no way to defend yourself, making combat a bit tricky until you figure out what to do. You can easily plow through the skeletons until they start to show up with swords and bows. By the time you hit level six and they start to defend themselves, back away and kill the ones with swords and bows behind you, then attack the horde in front of you. Enemies also drop soul essence which fills the orbs on the bottom of the screen. The three attacks they provide are pretty helpful, but what essence you have if you die does not carry over when you tackle the level again. Those three orbs disappear when you confront the dragon (final boss) that makes up level ten. His …2 found this helpful
very little gameplay, basically just click super fast and try not to get hit by the skeletons. however, I still managed to die a lot, which was extremely frustrating. as another reviewer mentioned, you can just run past the dragon and attack it from behind where it can't hit you, but this is more difficult than it sounds because if it starts breathing fire while you're running past, it is guaranteed to kill you. that person also mentioned that your health is infinitely regenerated while standing in the area where the "new round" messages appear, and this is true, but I've also noticed that the game seemingly doesn't allow you to damage the skeletons while you're standing there, so if you want to kill them and make more progress you'll have to make yourself vulnerable again. I don't know why the game even gives you a shield when you can't actually use it, the sorcerer calls it a "decorative shield" when he gives it to you which I guess is supposed to be a joke, but they should've just made it activated by the right click (since attacking is left click) or removed it from the game. overall I think this game is worth the price I paid for it, but that's because I paid nothing for it. i…2 found this helpful
Got dragon balls, got a wife, beat a dragon. Truly a masterpiece. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer.1 found this helpful
