Fishy 3D

I picked up both of the Fishy games and played them back to back because I was in the mood for something cute and casual (and have had fish on the brain lately??). They're both charming games, but Fishy 3D was much more enjoyable for me! Fish are a lot less aggressive and there are NO octopuses in this one. (Octopuses are awesome, but they're super annoying in the first game) Anyway, love the little sound effects and beautiful color palette here. There's a bunch of collectible type items I never even found, so it's got some traversal secrets in there in case I ever decide to play it some more. Super chill little game that's a bite sized experience- it can be completed in about an hour. Good for a lazy afternoon :]

A short, sweet puzzle game reminiscent of early Spore stage.

This game brings me great joy. It was very fun to swim around and get up to some fishy business. It's also weirdly relaxing too. I really enjoyed this game, I think if you have 3 dollars lying around, this is a good thing to spend it on. I just wish there was a sandbox mode where you can just swim around a big open area and just try to grow as big as possible or something (or just hang out) but to be honest the way the game is now, is fine.

Since I played the original “Fishy” I was a bit concerned this was just a remake but thankfully it wasn't!! Just a silly fish game with fun exploration and charming graphics!!

Decently fun throughout its run and has a nice charm with the sound and artstyle. I understand why they didn't take the time to add save functionality but, as someone who kept losing interest around halfway through, it took me like 4 tries to beat it. Don't look too deeply into me losing interest, though, games like this I tend to play in shorter play sessions. Also, while I wouldn't count this against the game because it's probably just my laptop being weird, around halfway through the game my game started lagging on and off and never stopped, even across play sessions and after uninstalling/reinstallilng the game.
