More frustrating than fun. The minigames are chaotic, way too fast, and tediously repetitive. Constantly being robbed, blocked, and attacked is both boring and tiresome. I guess the story is interesting enough, but for a primarily text-based game, the quality of the writing is very poor -- an editor would be a great investment here.

You have to visit places in a one dimensional town and manage money,health and inventory. Everything takes place in a steampunk world that works well and the writing is very correct. The game isn't great but not so bad either, it could have been very pleasant with some improvements on the gameplay elements and graphics. It would really need better mini-games than "click on the Os and avoid the Xs". Another problem is that beside the intro, the little vignette graphics are limited to locations in the town and almost never show characters. The game can seem hard at first but if you stick to it nd undrstand the mechanisms, it becomes a lot easier. The gameplay suffers a bit from bad balancing, but it's not really a big problem, you mostly play just for the story, which means cheesing the game is actually a good thing. But, once you get all the inventory upgrades there is no reall challenge anymore and the endgame will be very linear. It's missing a more involving challenge to the …

Small and nice game for few hours. For now it doesn't have much replayability, especially if you took your time to upgrade your gear and go through minor encounters, but it's worth its price.
