Space Reign

This game is not amazing. It's pretty good! Clearly a labor of love for a small team. I think everything about it is really solid, and I'm having a good time with it. I would not recommend at full price. I think the chief issues with it are that it does not have enough content, all the content it does have is easily experienced within a few hours, and that its game systems are not very compelling. I mean I could go through every single thing that this game does and find something that I wish was done better...buuuut there's also always this nugget of goodness that kept me playing. I like this game a lot. It's so so so imperfect. I wish nearly every aspect of the "game" that wasn't flying your ships had been improved on. But it doesn't really matter. It's worth getting.

half finished and dull

steam should have a meh button... but it doesnt... and even though i respect the devs obvious love for the genre this game just isnt worth it. too many missing or half baked features and alot of repetition/lack of variation. the most painfull part is that like most indie games you can just smell how great it could have been ''with just a bit more time and money''

Great game to enjoy when I need to sit back. It may have some balancing issues but try to see past that and just enjoy it for what it is. In my opinion the fighter experience feels a lot of Star Citizen. It may not be as feature rich but it's very fun and you can feel the weight of your fighter. I'm not a huge fan of the capital ship fighting. Controls feel stupid and broken

Great concept but still very rough around the edges. -Menus are cluttered -Graphics could use a little touch -Some keys and commands cannot be rebinded, ie zoom is strictly tied to your mousewheel -Fighter designs are limited -RTS side needs improvement both in controls (RTS staples such as formations, unit grouping, waypoint movement are missing) and in visual interface (ship orientations cannot be discerned from strategic interface, unit selection is often problematic when multiple units are in proximity) -Levels don't need to be 2D -Ship controls can borrow something from games like RG:Outlaw, Chorus -Unique concepts like this need good lore, which this game has none -When all of the above are resolved, consider implementing multiplayer

I do recommend this game even though if the missions get a little repetitive, this is a really fun space game. Though my largest negative is the AI voices, luckily they are not that distracting unlike some other games but i would vastly prefer the game if those voices were replaced, heck even by the devs. but I still think this is a solid game even considering that. this is probabaly one of the better space games that allows you to control a capital ship. which aren't many
