Orion wars is a refreshing return to games that are made by real people, bringing passion back to the world of gaming! The quick game times make for a light and fun experience, with multiple approaches to achieve victory, and so many races to choose from you can experience the game time and time again! + many races with different stats which feelt refreshing to other in the genré - No exit match button - Only x1 speed or x2 speed, Should have had 0.5 to make it more cozy - No music ingame only in mainmenu for unknown reason - To few settings Favorite minimalist "Take planets games" rated in fun order. This game is alright. I thought the game had something related to Master of Orion but in a minimalist bare bone version. You choose what race to start off with, each with their racial characteristics. You have a homeworld to start from. Planets produce ships, defenses and research and can be adjusted via slider. Once ships are built, you can use them to invade and colonize other planets. Ship battle is automated.2 found this helpful
Fun little game to spend time or to battle friends. Simple enough to pick up and go but deep enough to make it challenging. One of my favorite indie games of 2025.2 found this helpful
