[h1]Review[/h1] [h2]Story[/h2] The player character, Velven, goes on a journey to save her sister Soire from the Basilisk's poison, and this arc gets resolved about halfway into the game. However, this turns out to be connected to [spoiler]the conflict between the demons and the goddess, the latter of which is secretly evil[/spoiler]. I enjoyed the banter between party members and I though the [spoiler]backstory of the demons and goddess was interesting, but the goddess's faction only seems to consist of herself and a librarian. I didn't find the antagonists of this game as interesting as the virtual world conspiracy of Game Master Plus, since their motivations and dialogue feel kind of generic.[/spoiler] I wish the locations in this game had unique names instead of just being called "Village," "Cave," or "Capital." I thought this was supposed to be a hint of [spoiler]another virtual world scenario, but that kind of twist never happens, so I don't understand the purpose of the overly simplistic naming. Pretty good game. Story: At first starting off with Velven trying to save her sister. It gets into what Velven and her sister are, a goddess and their false divinity. Which leads into an ancient war that went on. It is a short, but nice story. System: While it has the RPG maker thing, it does provide a good balance between the skill usage and the execution to break through enemies. This was done quite well, with something a bit extra in the end. Maps: Quite a bit of maps. Puzzles: That's pretty much the whole game, there are even stealth sections. Music: Good. Problem: Most equipment, they weren't worth using. The drawback, let alone the lower stats made the initial stuff a lot better, especially since they can be upgraded. Very few were good, which includes end game stuff. Overall: Pretty solid game, and I'd recommend it.

This one was pretty good in my opinion. I was a little annoyed how cramped some areas felt but that was a nitpick more than any thing else. The bosses were rather challenging but only once did I feel it was unfair. Unlike a lot of RPGs I play I'm not just spamming my best moves over and over. I actually used most of the ability's given consonantly. I even felt like using guard for more than obviously televised attacks. The story was rather standard fair but it kept me interested. The characters were fun to. Though the final character felt a tad shoe horned in.

To Dev: I am enjoying this game but the learning curve to navigating the maps are a pain and could definitely turn people off of the game. (I almost stopped playing the game due to the feeling walls and trees for paths you cannot visually see) The beginning is a little overtuned for the boss fights but once you have 2 to 3 teammates its all good. Great game and the story is good so far. I am enjoying the combat and additions that you are given as you progress. The choices in equipment are nice too. It gives you options for how you want your party to operate.
