About Daydream
Imagine you're a kid back in the 90s. You woke up early because you're excited you're going to play your favorite JRPG!
Daydream is all you would expect from the JRPGs of yore, plus voice acting and original music to give life to the story and characters.
When their captain goes missing, our young heroes decide to embark on a journey that will lead them to discover the chilling truth about themselves, their unresolved past and uncertain future.
Expect an unexpected ending that will throw you head over heels into an existential crisis.
I've been working on this game for more than 10 years now. I'm proud to finally release it into the world, so you can get to know the characters that have been with me for such a long time.
-10 to 20 hours of gameplay
-Unique abilities that allow for creative strategies and play styles, especially in late game
-Challenging boss fights and optional uber boss fights that will require everything at your disposal to conquer
-"Materia" system for character customization
-Creature summons that get more powerful the more you unlock abilities and get good at timing your button presses (similar to Legend of Dragoon)
-Full voice acting during cutscenes
-Amazing original music!
-NOT yet another RPGMaker game, this was made from scratch using Unity and Tiled

Its a hidden gem ! Try this game the story is really good and the boss fights is worth your time because they are very chalenging. The only negative that i can find is that the exp is not party based and you have to farm for each of the party members individualy. Daydream is definitely a game worth picking up, whether you're a veteran gamer or a newcomer. Daydream has a sheer amount of creativity in it, with an entertaining driven story, clever combat strategies to choose from, large map areas to explore, hidden treasure to find, and endearing characters to follow through their adventures. I had an excellent time playing Daydream, and I hope more people will get a chance to play! I enjoyed this game. It's quick to complete, around 10 or so hours. It's really inspired by the oldies and will give a quick fix for that kind of game. Hovewer, it has some old design that I personnally don't enjoy as much (but maybe others do). It has random encounters and there is no xp for benched party members. Still a fun game.1 found this helpful
Well, I've tried to like this game... Not happening... This game is broken, right at the beginning... When a game get you stuck half an hour right at the beginning because you don't have "cat-like" superhuman reflexes, and are not able to complete the tutorial... Well that's a problem... At least include a way to get around this joke of a fight move, where you need to be able to strike a key in a 10 ms window... Forget about "Emblem", this is a waste of your time...
