The Ice Caves is a fast-paced, retro-inspired, Metroidvania-style, platform shooter that sets you "gunz-ablaze" in a battle of wits, reflexes and skill. Survive 'The Trial of The Mountain' by descending into frozen caves protected by packs of adorable and sarcastic monsters. Do what it takes to mow down hordes of tribal "Ice Reaverz" and solve puzzles to become the ultimate 'Herald of The Mountain'. But be warned-- many have failed before you.

To be honest, I think this game has great potential at first. However, it seems that the developer have not perfected it. Or in other words, developer don't want to spend time perfecting it. To tell you the truth, it's a pity that this game will be wonderful absolutely if you polish it carefully. Of course, the assumption is always the assumption. When the developer gave up his game, as a player, I can do nothing but feel sorry for this game. This game has only three weapons and three monsters, and the game process is very short. The damage of shotgun has bug. There is no boss in the game. You can end the game in about 10 minutes. very good game quite short but fun
It's enjoyable for a start when was released but the publishers seem to have finished, if you play it for free it's a nice little play for 15 minutes but nothing else. It lacks a restart, a lives system for any difficulty beyond poor bullet management.

Is this the full game, or a 10-minute proof-of-concept demo? What's actually there *right now* is just the demo, but it's now $5. What is there is well-executed, but nothing made me jump up and go "oh wow".
