Hughes is a polar explorer. He finds himself in a snowy mountain area and tries to figure out what's going on. Hughes finds an old radio at the beginning of his adventure. Strange voice from this radio begins to guide Hughes. Is it worth listening to this voice? And where will it all lead?

Nice platformer with an interesting story. The main mechanic is your radio: you can send a radiowave, that materializes platforms for a short period of time. It is used for movement, for puzzles and even for fights (yeah, there are fights!) Story is intriguing, but simple. Visual part is nice but a bit confusing, however i quickly used to it. And developer sometimes uses this confusion against the player) The game partly feels like metroidvania: chapters/locations are connected with each other, but you have to find your way through first. Locations are interesting to explore, have secrets and not all of them obvious. I like 8-bit sound design also, but sometimes music doesn't match the situation. For instance, the very first chase takes place with irritating sound (that's ok) and CALM music (not ok)!.. The game is short, however, you have to explore all location to finish it. And that can take some time... Shortly, I liked the game. I think anyone who likes exploring with platforming and not frequently used mechanics would like it too.2 found this helpful
Игра "Cold Silence" оставила двоякое впечатление. С одной стороны, атмосфера безысходности и холода, пронизывающая каждый уголок станции, реализована великолепно. Визуальное оформление местами завораживает, а звуковое сопровождение держит в напряжении до самого конца. Сюжет, хотя и не нов, подается интересно и заставляет задуматься. Однако, геймплей показался несколько однообразным. Задачи часто сводятся к поиску определенных предметов, а враги не отличаются разнообразием поведения. Порой не хватает какой-то динамики, чтобы полностью погрузиться в происходящее. В целом, "Cold Silence" - неплохой хоррор с уклоном в атмосферу и сюжет. Любителям размеренных и пугающих приключений, не боящимся однотипных задач, игра может прийтись по вкусу. Если разработчики поработают над разнообразием геймплея, вторая часть может стать настоящим хитом.
It is like a Nitrome game
This game definitely surprised me, it's SOOOO good. It's difficult, it's pretty, the story is good and just the overall game is amazing. I've not beaten it yet, because it's a bit confusing on what to do to actually beat it but I can't wait until I do because I'm having a ton of fun. Highly recommend it!
very bulshitty platformer, but it's kinda fun. i only managed to reach the dog and i got filtered pretty hard. if you like this kind of games, go for it i guess
