About The World's Egg - For Those Who Dream

It's another ordinary day in the ordinary lives of Mari and Kotone when something extraordinary happens: the townspeople begin to collapse one after another before their very eyes and transform into horrific monsters! Somehow unaffected by the unknown phenomena, Mari is guided by an ethereal voice and gains the ability to transform into Lilium, a heroine with the power to face the monsters head-on and send them packing. However, saving her home won't be as simple as clobbering her former friends and neighbors... The reality is that the door to another world has opened, and miasma is pouring out through the cracks, turning the town she knows and loves into an unrecognizable hellscape. Only by venturing into the unknown and staging an invasion of her own can Mari hope to stymie the threat and protect all she holds dear.

And yet, there are still so many questions left unanswered. What's the truth behind the miasma and the terrifying monsters that roam the streets? How and why did the two worlds become connected in the first place? And perhaps most importantly, is there truly a way for Mari to reverse the damage that's already been done and reclaim her old life?

Explore a new, dangerous world overrun with monsters as you struggle to save your hometown. The more enemies you defeat, the more experience you'll gain. Use those experience points to unlock skills in different skill trees! Customize your experience and upgrade your attack, defense, and resistance, or focus on gaining skills to help you explore.

Separate Skill Trees
Level up and unlock different skills to customize Lilium's gear for offense, defense, or to even aid with exploration. Experience the world in whichever way you want!

A Dangerous World Filled with Obstacles and Surprises
Every step you take in the new world drains your energy. Be on guard for whatever might spring up, good or bad, as you traverse various environments! Will you find a cache of valuable items, be ambushed in battle, or fall into a trap?

The World's Egg - For Those Who Dream combines traditional 2D role-playing mechanics with supernatural horror, magical transformation themes, and an unsettling journey between two connected worlds. Developed by Hasoyua and published by Kagura Games, the adventure follows Mari, an ordinary young woman whose peaceful life with her best friend Kotone is shattered when a mysterious disaster strikes their town. People suddenly collapse and transform into horrifying creatures, leaving Mari surrounded by danger while apparently remaining unaffected by whatever has corrupted everyone else. Mari's unusual immunity quickly becomes central to the story. After hearing a mysterious voice, she discovers the ability to transform into Lilium, giving her the strength required to defend herself against the monsters now roaming her surroundings. What initially appears to be a local catastrophe gradually develops into something much larger. Another world has somehow become connected to Mari's own, allowing a dangerous substance known as miasma to spread across the boundary. Finding the source of this contamination becomes her primary objective, eventually forcing her to leave familiar territory and e…

After beating this game with a good ending IDK I think I prefer the "Bad ending" more.

Patch is available on the publisher's website. I do not like this game. Gameplay is bad, the combat is bad. The scenes during the combat are forgettable and nothing special. All you do in the gamplay is going deeper into some area and make choices of how you delve deeper into the areas. Clothes tear, slimes, goblins etc. rape you and the whole package. Still images, no animations. In the overworld, you don't know what to do, just talk with everyoine you can and nothing happens, so you go back into dungeoun or whatever you want to call it, and go through the bad scenes and boring gameplay. I cannot recommend this game, but if yopu like other worldy magical girl stuff go ahead. 2/10.

This was pretty great. It's flagged as an H game, but I went the entire time without hitting that kind of content. Its like a classic JRPG as you text base search through and environment and get randomized encounters. I enjoyed this.
