Phantom Rose 2 Sapphire

The game is decent but overall not that enjoyable. Here are my complaints: - Too similar to the first game. The UI style, the battle, most of the cards and even enemies are the same. - The UI/animation is too slow even with x2 battle speed - Once you've bought a skin you like and 2-3 card packs there is nothing left to spend diamond on to upgrade your card deck. - For the price there is too little content, most of it is repeat grinding. - TOO MUCH reading, I get that it is a card game so reading is expected. BUT almost each enemy has their own buffs and card effects. I have to spend 20s - 40s just to read and plan my hand. - The grind feels tiring and not worth it once you've unlocked the skin you want and card packs. - Arcade mode most of the time gives you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cards that you can't even form any combos. - The story is decent I guess, nothing too special. I really want to recommend this game but it feels more frustrating than fun to play for me. I like the art style and the first game but this one isn't worth it in my opinion.

My Hours are low on record but I've played the series a LOT off record and this game is PEAK. Could not reccomend it enough, my only issue is that it runs off Chromium I believe? So if your computer has issues with Chromium (such as my current laptop) it may be poorly optimized for your device compared to most other games you may play. Otherwise it's a fun roguelike deckbuilder with a pleasant story, good character design, gambling, and natural progression through unlockable card sets. It also has pretty women of all sorts.

Good prequel for Asterika: Phantom Rose Refrain.
