It's quite the fun little game! It's a little easy to start but as you complete runs you get harder difficulties, and I'm starting to have difficulties now... If you like deck builders and cute girls, then this is for you. The price point is very reasonable as well! please give it a try!!!4 found this helpful
A simple roguelike card game with a cutesy artstyle. It distinguishes itself from other roguelike by focusing on summon management, where summonable allies are used as both shields and attackers, with the player being incentivized to make them last as long as they can to take full benefits of them. There's a story here, but one that is fed to the player through snippets from clearing increasingly harder runs. And on the harder runs, the ability to clear them can come down to luck more than skill, as if you don't get bonuses that increases your mana pool at the start of the round, you can kiss that run goodbye. More rooms for summons would be nice, 3 seems too prohibitive. And some bosses have mechanics that are too punishing for certain builds, which is also another added layer of RNG being able to screwing over a run through no fault of the player. But overall, great game!1 found this helpful

At its core, Phantomancer revolves around constructing decks filled with spells, items, support abilities, and summonable Phantoms that can be used during turn-based combat encounters. Like many roguelike card battlers, players move through branching paths while facing enemies, collecting rewards, upgrading cards, and gradually refining their strategy over the course of each run. However, the game introduces several systems that significantly alter how battles are approached. The most important of these is the pouch mechanic, which allo…
