The English and Grammar are pretty bad. The tutorial is awful and might give you a headache. Gameplay is very meh; not worth the price.

I honestly don't understand the extremely few reviews of this game. True, the fact that the graveyard doesn't replenish the deck is a challenge, but it's woven into the gameplay and there are ways to improve your ability to get cards back. Honestly, it is a nice way to prevent a bloated deck and it's easy enough to retain the key cards that make a deck work. I don't have to mention the art, it's amazing. The sound design is pretty good too. I wish there was a little more feedback when you get damaged, I often overlooked it completely and had to remind myself to look at my hp. Now I'm not really deep into the game yet, but so far it's pretty good!

An interesting rougelite deck builder with some amusing writing. The fact that you can only retrieve some of the cards you used each battle (unless you pay coins to retrieve more via the shop) means that you end up prioritizing being efficient with your cards and not just defeating enemies as fast as possible. Enemies are also designed that bursting through them with a single powerful card is difficult, most enemies requiring you to plan out your attacks to break through their "stacks," each with their own set of attacks and health. For the asking price of $14.99, I would say it's very well priced. If you really liked the genre, even $20 would probably be worth it. The game only just came out so I'm hoping the developer will add a few more quality of life things that would make gameplay a bit smoother such as additional card filters during deck management. Overall I'd definitely recommend it.

Its a good game. Things I liked about it are that the cards become their own economy, and it truly does feel like youre playing a deck builder / roguelite mashed up properly. The tutorial was quick and you get to playing in minutes.

Rogue Cards is a roguelike deck builder set in a medieval fantasy world with a hand-painted art style. Enemies consist of stacks, each with unique health and abilities, and damage does not carry over between them, making battles more challenging. You and your enemies have different attack and defense types (melee, magic, and pure damage). Also, you need to carefully manage your deck since cards go to the graveyard after use. You must plan your moves carefully; otherwise, you could lose due to a lack of cards. The game features meta-progression, allowing you to earn gems for permanent upgrades. There's also an in-run shop for buying new cards, retrieving graveyard cards, items, and potions. Compared to other games in the genre, Rogue Cards is quite challenging, but in my opinion, it's an underrated game. The game has a good price, and you can easily grab it on sale.
