Dogs That Can Shoot!
Let’s talk about Doot-Type, the 2D side-scrolling shoot 'em up where you, as a blood-thirsty Chihuahua from the future, are on a mission to stop an intergalactic hootenanny hosted by a gator named Mother Gator. Yes, you read that right. Add in some retro gameplay, fun commentary by the devs, and enough chaotic vibes to keep you entertained, and you've got Doot-Type. If that premise alone doesn’t hook you, stick around, because there’s more than meets the eye with this quirky little shooter.
About This Game

Storyline
So here’s the deal: you’re DOOT, a time-travelling, vengeance-seeking Chihuahua, and your mission is as wild as it sounds. You simply play stages in order and follow a fairly entertaining plot. Most of it is conveyed through cutscenes, which appear when you defeat a boss or complete a stage. Cutscenes have a different and more appealing visual style than the game's playable characters, who appear to have been photoshopped into the game. The controls are easy because there are just three options: movement, shoot, and special attack. The shoot button can be held down, and defeating enemies fills the special attack bar. Once full, you can unleash a massive dog that destroys everything in its way. This is tricky because the bar resets whenever you take damage. Although there are no upgrades, you can obtain a few items by destroying bones. The most crucial is the weapon upgrade, which …

Solid Frog has done an amazing job on the. Now there's still a few bugs at this point but nothing major.. just one thing I've noticed is that at time the music for the water stage doesn't always come up unless you die but overall the game is indeed fun.
