This is a fun little game. I picked it up on a dirt-cheap sale a few weeks ago and have been playing it off and on. The gameplay loop is simple but engaging, and it’s easy to jump in for quick runs. The mechanics are mostly solid, though some upgrades aren’t explained very well and the fixed attack direction can feel a bit awkward at times. It’s not perfect, but it’s enjoyable for what it is, and I’d recommend it—especially on sale.1 found this helpful
Pretty fun little game
A very fun, and short, sorta survivors-like. I say sorta, because it has nothing to extend the main game after the final boss besides unlocks. Once you beat the boss, the game is over. But that's okay, because I enjoyed this game's short stay. And honestly, the game only has one gimmick, and it doesn't do a lot with it. Different ways of using and retrieving the dagger would have been interesting. The different characters just have different starting powerups you can get with the regular frog. Which is fine for helping boast different build directions. Again, I still recommend it, because the few levels it has are punchy. I loved the final boss, but I'm disappointed I beat him on the first try. I would recommend trying that fight below the advised level to get a proper challenge.
this is a great little surviorslike. its got some challenges to unlock. the end boss was pretty hard! i love any games this dev puts out. theyre adorable and well thought out. please keep on putting out bangers.
Surprised this isn't a more well known game, I loved my froggy <3
An extremely underrated and very fun game. Every run feels really satisfying and the dagger mechanic is a lot of fun. While upgrades can feel unsatisfying at first, as you start leveling them it becomes super fun mowing down enemies. Also, the pixel art and visuals in general bring me so much joy, some of the characters and monsters are so cute ;w; <3 This game is fairly short content-wise, but even once you complete the main content you can work towards getting the challenge achievements, and coming up w different builds each run for those can be really fun! I highly recommend this game :)
