The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot

This game's a real gem and if you're the sort who enjoys finding creative and entertaining ways to fight dirty, you really ought to give it a go. How creative and dirty? Take a board from a broken crate, throw it at a foe's legs to knock him over, then kick him into his campfire to burn to death kind of dirty. Slap a man with a fish, run away, then drop the fish on the ground so he slips on it and off a ledge to his doom kind of dirty. Deflect a mage's wind spell back at them, knocking them into a wall and falling over, then chop their leg off with a mighty coup de grace from an axe before they can get up, enchant that severed leg with fire, and hurl it at his friend for a flaming sneak headshot kind of dirty. Turn invisible and creep by a group of pirates to teleport to an upper ledge unseen, then use telekinesis to pull an archer from the next rooftop over into your waiting arms and throw her into the sea below, and finally cast an illusion on a lower bridge to draw out that first group, and toss a grenade to blast them off to join the archer kind of dirty. This game was a lot of fun ! A gem ! Good comedy, nice mechanics, a great system for magic, unique skills Normally i don't care about achievement but this one deserved a farming for platinum <3

Really great dynamic combat, easy fun

At its worst, Sir Kicksalot is mildly tedious and unbalanced -- though they serve the basis of its combat and slapstick, the Mordhau-esque aiming-affects-strike-type felt a lot more finnicky. But it is also *very* slapstick and just a simple witty type of fun that though I could bellyache about minor gripes, it's a lot funnier to also talk about how insanely broken some physics interactions can be in a way that not many imsimesque games allow you to be. I found that reason enough to see it through to its completion.

I was surprised how fun this was. Good humor, creative gameplay. Plays great on the Steam Deck. Worth a buy and trust me I don't say that very often in the big 26.

Like that there is such a variety of ways to kill enemies. The comedy is great and had me rolling in tutorial. Combat system is easy to use but with a lot of variety making it pretty fun to experiment. Short and you don't get to unlock all the skills so you got to spend your skill points wisely. It's a great time spender.
