Ellingby House

Ellingby House in my opinion is easily the best free to play game on Steam. the graphics, the gameplay, the story line, and the puzzles are all top notch. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves a good mystery to solve.

Great way to spend 6 hours, lots of good puzzles and would definitely have paid for the game. Definitely recommend!

Not bad. Needs some work to make it good enough to keep me interested. I got really tired of running back and forth and back and forth constantly. Just kind of felt dry. Well made, but not interesting enough to keep me interested.

good

Wow, what a great game! I went in expecting a solid point-and-click puzzle game and came out genuinely impressed on almost every level. Let's start with what matters most: the puzzles. They're clever, layered, and never lean on obscure logic just to pad out the playtime. Solutions feel earned rather than guessed, and mechanisms are woven back into later puzzles in ways that make the whole building feel like one connected system rather than a series of disconnected rooms. Whether you're rerouting power, decoding old audio clues, or working out how a mechanism fits together from scattered pieces, every puzzle rewards genuine observation over trial and error. It's the kind of design that respects your intelligence, and it kept me hooked from the first panorama to the last. The setting is where the game elevates itself further. Ellingby House, the crumbling head office of J.R Holder & Sons, is rendered with an incredible level of realism — peeling paint, neglected offices, the unmistakable signs of a company falling apart from the inside. It doesn't feel like a generic "spooky building" backdrop; it feels like a real corporate headquarters that's been abandoned mid-collapse, and that…

Fun 5 hours for a boring Sunday.
