Humans had the silly idea of bringing dinosaurs back to life, and ever since, relationships between the two species have been strained. No dinosaurs wanted to become a cop, so you were created in a laboratory to become the only dinosaur cop. Every day, you ask yourself: are you making the world better for your dino peers, or are you just a tool of human propaganda?
Features:
  • A rich and funny story starring a dozen anthropomorphic dinosaurs, and other silly characters, entangled in personal drama and sociopolitical issues about the realities of dino life in a human world ;
  • Sniff out crimes thanks to your magnifying glass, your literal nose and other tools that will let you interact with your environment in clever ways ;
  • Keep track of your investigation using an detailed node system and a timetable ;
  • About 10 hours of gameplay

Absolute peak game, ♥♥♥♥ Off Steve the GOAT

I streamed this game with a friend and we went in expecting what it looks like: a cute, silly dinosaur-themed detective romp. We were not expecting the biting satire, dialogue that made us gasp in horror as much as we laughed, and genuinely heartfelt character writing. Gameplay reminds me of Frog Detective by way of Majora's Mask, with a lot of searching for clues and following sidequests. There is a bit of indie jank in the controls and systems, but it doesn't detract from anything for me. The plot is a sharply political dinosaur noir (dinosnoir???) that doesn't pull any punches, and wears that fact on its sleeves (and in the trailer.) From the VERY FIRST LINES you should know what kind of game you are in for. At the same time, the game is absolutely hilarious with great characters. Bert, the rats, the Moderate Moderator, and all time MVP ♥♥♥♥ Off Steve are standouts. The original ending hit me hard and left me thinking for weeks (though it is thematically appropriate) but the new extended ending is absolutely perfect. I cannot WAIT for a follow-up. I bought the game myself and played far enough so that I could write this glowing review. Anyway, friend and I ship Dinocop and…

I very much recommend this game, I had so much fun with this. It's a quirky detective game, dark themes but cosy gameplay. It took me 14 hours to complete the game and I didn't even get half the achievements.

A great parody game of the genre. Political references were enjoyable too. Most of the joker were funny aswell. Dont try to do everything tho. Just play through main story. The game is relatively linear and all of the content is tied to the main story so exploration is pretty pointless.

Dinos plus detective work plus clever humour and you get a blast of a combo. Very fun game. Can't wait for part 2.
