Hit the road to search for fossils of extinct species that once ruled the Earth. Enjoy diverse landscapes across the United States, where you'll force your way through mud, water, and various environmental hazards. Destroy rocks, drain bodies of water, and search for your prize in a vast terrain.
EXPLORE EXCAVATION AREAS
Collecting fossils is not that easy, especially if you have to dig by yourself. Use your georadar to search for clues and discover the remains of extinct species, adding to your insight of the Earth's distant past. If you think all you have to do is find the right area, you’re wrong. It's just the beginning! Use multiple tools, such as a chainsaw, shovel, or pickaxe, to achieve your goal. But, be careful! These bones can be very fragile.
PREPARE DELICATE FOSSILS
Precious fossils are very delicate, so you need to carefully clean the bones to ensure that nothing gets damaged before assembling a complete prehistoric skeleton. Manage your know-how using the portable in-game tablet and become a world-renowned paleontologist.

The game starts with a "tutorial", where you draw a dino with numbered dots and build "models", which are just wooden blocks. This is all the game thinks you need to know on how to play the game. Then the game tells you to DRIVE to the site, except the game then tells you to stop and USE A DAMN CHAINSAW TO GET A TREE OFF THE ROAD! This is the main issue with the game it adds too much non fossil related busywork with the game doesn't really explain how to do. Why does this game have driving sections? Why do I have a chainsaw? Imagine repair sim where you must drive to the post office each time you need to order new parts I spent more time in the car than fossil hunting and that ruined the fun.2 found this helpful

I wanted to like this game but it was so tedious that it became boring. There are a lot of aspects that were really great and fun, but it was just too tedious.1 found this helpful
Seems cool, but it says full controller support which it doesn’t have, and performance on my pc handhelds left a bit to be desired. Might buy it after it gets some much needed updates but currently I don’t recommend especially if your trying to play with a controller

This is the game I would have dreamed about as a kid. 10/10! there is so much content and every piece is so interactive and the customization, this game gives you so much for such a good price given the $60 - $70 you would have to spend for a similar sized game
