3D Escape: Chinese Room

A nice little puzzle game — it's very much a "The Room" clone, which is not a bad thing — The Room is a classic, and I wish there were more games like this. It's very easy in terms of difficulty, which makes the game very short, too. I think it took me like 20 minutes to finish. I love the Chinese cultural elements. The graphics are good, but outdated. I'm guessing it's a mobile game port (which was the case with The Room as well). It's very cheap, though, so for that price, I think it's worth playing.

Not a bad game definitely not the room, but this is a decent game for the price. Short but good graphics and sound.

I was enjoying this until I got to the engine puzzle it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupidly finnicky with turning that it keeps screwing me over every time I get right to the end I try and make that 90 degree turn and it zooms off a different way and I lose!

How are these games successful? The puzzles are mid at best, more often just plain bad, the story is bollocks. It's just not good.

It's interesting to see the Chinese influences on an escape room game, but much of the gameplay fell short. The first half ended up feeling very shallow, while the second half ended up more being more a matter of pixel hunting versus applications of logic, It's a short game at a low price, but I like the concept far more than I liked the execution.
