We self-published our first game The Room on iPad in September 2012 and were stunned with both the critical success and our new-found fan-base, not to mention multiple international awards. The Room games have since changed our lives and we hope you enjoy playing them as much as we enjoyed making them.

Where The Room pioneered and The Room 2 (in my opinion) stumbled, The Room 3 is a culmination of what the series does right: clever set pieces that combine beautiful interactiveness with puzzles that test your understanding of what you're looking at. There are surprisingly few "hunt the pixel" roadblocks, which was very refreshing after The Room 2. The hint system is even more robust than before, and there is a huge amount of stuff to see and do in this game. Even so, the game is paced very well into chapters, so you're never actually overwhelmed. The one problem is transition and travel time, due to how sprawling the game can get, but it's not a problem [spoiler]until you're going for the alternate endings[/spoiler]. I'd like to highlight once again how clever the puzzles are, and especially, how clever they make you feel when you solve them. They are designed with great care to make full use of the environment and the mechanisms you see. Every puzzle has hints built into how it's framed and what mechanisms are presented to you. i love the room series, i didn't love the multiple endings, but i still think this game is worth it because it's a great puzzle game
