Don't Play Breakout Deluxe

I did not, in fact, play Breakout

Cute game! Fun, not very difficult, comfy, about an hour long. The different worlds are graphically unique and introduce different elements that are used through their levels, so it introduces a little variety. Support this indie dev and enjoy a comfy game with fun music and different mechanics!

You know what? I WANT to play Breakout Deluxe actually! FULL VIDEO - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S8gSehLrnE

Not just breakout but way better

A cute short game to play on a break or a lazy afternoon.

If you enjoyed VVVVVV then you'll love this. If VVVVVV was too difficult for you, then you will also love this because it's nowhere near as brutal. My only issue is the soundtrack which (where VVVVVV has a godlike ost) I muted this game in my volume mixer after the 2nd track because it sounds quite bad bad. Too bleepy-bloopy and midi, with very basic melodies and basic too very stripped-back in a bad way Also the pause menu sucks. First off, the game has the default text of the fullscreen option say that it's "on" even when the game launched in windowed mode. And second, there is NO AUDIO OPTIONS AT ALL!!! Im not just talking no music volume or sfx volume sliders, I also mean not even a main volume level to turn down the game, so I had to open my volume mixer and turn down the application. That sucks. But it was still quite fun, a great premise executed well and a lot of creative puzzle mechanics, if not as many puzzles to fit them in. Loved the credits sequence too, I liked the game enough to beat it anyway, but the credits was a great little suprise that made the ending definitely worth it. Very good. Would recommend.
