About Below Benni's
Step into the shoes of an urban explorer taking photos and videos of derelict facilities deep in the American South. You sneak into Benni's Bakery, a long-forgotten bakery that once stood as a pillar of the small town’s community — now left to rot and crumble under time's weight. What starts as a routine exploration of a decaying relic quickly spirals into something far more sinister. While exploring, the floor gives way and send you, the explorer, tumbling down below. You awaken disoriented in a network of tunnels used for storage and production, a hidden underbelly beneath Benni’s — and you're not alone.Something else has been trapped down here all this time. And it knows you’re here. Now, with only a flickering flashlight and your wits to guide you, you must navigate the claustrophobic passageways but time is running out. As you move, you are being hunted. A broken speaker, the scrape of metal on concrete, and fleeting shadows are constant reminders that you are being watched and stalked. Keep running, stay quiet and never let your guard down.Key Features:🔦 Atmospheric Horror Exploration — Immerse yourself in a chilling, detail-rich environment filled with environmental storytelling and eerie remnants of the past.📍 Dynamic Tunnels and Secret Areas — Navigate twisting corridors, hidden rooms, and forgotten offices beneath the bakery, each holding clues and dangers.👤 Stealth-Based Survival — Avoid what lurks in the shadows using stealth and strategy. You won’t survive a direct encounter — staying on the move is your only hope.📜 Uncover a Disturbing Story — Piece together the mystery of Benni’s through scattered notes, recordings, and environmental clues.🎧 Immersive Sound Design — 3D audio and a reactive soundscape keep you constantly on edge, with every creak, whisper, and footstep adding to the tension.Gameplay:An atmospheric survival horror experience with dungeon crawler-inspired movement and level design. Explore, unlock doors, restore old machinery, and scavenge for vital items to escape — all while evading a relentless threat that only moves when you’re not watching.

Um, no. Just...no. This game has the worst controls I've ever used. I generally don't like reviewing a game without giving it a good solid thirty minutes if not an hour but my god...if I can't get past the controls than what's the point? I mean I can't even run away when the killer cake lady and her man sees me. I can only walk away hoping they're not in a bad mood. Spoiler alert! They are both in bad moods all the time! But I would be too if i was trapped underground. I don't know. I'll probably revisit this with hopes they've made other options for how to control the character. Because the game does look fun!3 found this helpful

I love the concept of the game and am really intrigued by the lore. But the game is way too frustrating and difficult even on the lowest difficulty. I find the controls interesting, but when facing enemies it becomes more frustrating than anything else. I wish I could say I recommend the game, but in its current state, I can't. If the game gets a rework, I'm willing to reconsider my rating and give it a other chance.2 found this helpful
Really fun and well made game. Similar game play to the Escape Granny games where you need to escape a place through one of the multiple escape routes by collecting items and evading the enemy. Key difference to the Granny games is the movement and view is on a 4 plane axis with no mouse movement Balancing is good too where on the easy difficulty you get a perk to assist.1 found this helpful
