If you sometimes sigh at the thought of playing a twenty hour point and click adventure, then Uncle Lee's Cookbook might be the solution you've been looking for, with its five bite-sized adventures. I actually think this is a very good idea and it works really well. Each episode is about an hour or two in length and although they are loosely based around the relationship between Uncle Lee and his niece Ines, they have a completely different setting and story which makes it feel like you are playing something new each time. There's definitely an old school feel here with familiar graphics and fonts, and the voice acting is actually very good. There's also a generous amount of humour sprinkled over the episodes which had me reminiscing about Monkey Island and the same sort of silly comical vibe. The stories are very imaginative and I was impressed by the quality of each act. There is a standout chapter in the quintet which will take up most of your time and effort and the other four perform as supporting acts, but they were all enjoyable to play. I would say that the gameplay doesn't follow the typical P&C formula. There seemed to be less object combinations and backtrac…

Uncle Lee’s Cookbook is a wonderfully charming point-and-click adventure that I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end. The clever puzzles, quirky humour and delightfully strange characters kept me entertained throughout, while each new disaster felt fresh and unpredictable. Ines is a brilliant protagonist, and Uncle Lee’s ridiculous experiments create plenty of memorable moments. It’s funny, creative and packed with personality, making it an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys classic adventure games with a wonderfully unusual twist.

This is an excellent adventure game. It's got some clever puzzles with an excellent built-in hint system and it reminds me of playing Day of the Tentacle and other point-and-click adventure games when I was a kid. Absolutely worth your time and money! Please support this game so we can get more like it.

Had a really good time with this one! It's an easy recommendation if you love point-and-click adventures or classic LucasArts games. My only criticism would be the ending, which felt quite abrupt.
