Delicious - Mansion Mystery

SQRT3... The same team that made Scarlet's Haunted Hotel... Which would mean... Easy gameplay and constant bickering in cutscenes... (But at least they had a decent mystery and some emotional drama!)(And GameHouse chimed in on their work, huh? Well, seeing their current track record... It explains... A LOT.) I was mostly right. The game is rather easy. Sure very few levels and at the end it gets... A little bit hectic, but seriously... All the "pressure" is put onto you in the beginning of the level and then nothing. I don't get it. This also looks like it wasn't originally for PC and loading times are slightly annoying. I've never been so tired of looking at Emily's enlarged face!!! Alright well, in this one you'll be serving mostly food and prepping for the wedding (for which you need diamonds + gold, if you want to change some items to something else). Just like with the Raven in SHH, the mouse, Carl, is excruciatingly easy to find. Sigh. The mini-games are overly easy too... But then again... They weren't supposed to be hard. Eh. [b]Wow, the Delicious Emily series really came a long way.[/b] It turns out that Emily is going on a vacation; not by herself or with her family, but with her childhood best friend Francois. However, it seems like Emily can’t really relax as even the thought of going to somewhere relaxing is too much relaxation. Luckily, Emily’s husband, Patrick, has the perfect solution right in his hand. Trevor, an old catering pal, sent over a letter detailing that he needs some help catering a big engagement party. Francois wasn’t exactly happy at that idea, as he understandably wants to relax and not work, but he changes his tone when he hears it’s at the Jenkins mansion (aka the wealthiest and most well-connected family in Snuggford) and it surely will be the social event of the decade. Let’s start this friend-cation work-cation! Little did Emily or Francois know, their friend-cation here in the Jenkins mansion isn’t going to be a boring one (or a stressful one trying to make it the perfect event for the two families) as they soon find themselves solving a mystery to prove someone’s innocence. I love Gamehouse games and realize that they should be challenging to some degree however the difficulty of this one is insane towards end of game. I tried multiple times on each Ballroom level to get 3 stars on normal and failed. Very frustrating. This one isn't worth it.

I`ve always liked the Delicious series and traveling along with Emily!! These are good games to pass the time but also kind of works your brain if your looking for a perfect score. I find all of the adventures Emily goes on fruitful and the stories are easy to follow.

I've been playing the Delicious games for YEARS. Some installments are better than others, but this is one of the best I've played. The story was great, the UX was positive and touch-screen clicks were all registered. It was a little on the easy side as I was able to get 3 stars on every level while playing on the Normal difficulty level, but again, I've been playing these games for 20 years, so maybe it's just me. Overall, though, highly recommend!
