This is a masterpiece. This is what art should be. Is it short? Yes, absolutely. It took me about twenty minutes to finish. But I can tell you this: I will be thinking about this little game for years to come. This is one of those games you'll remember in ten or twenty years and revisit every now and then as a bite-sized dose of nostalgia. I don't know if I'll ever recapture the magic I experienced during my first playthrough, especially now that I know all the twists and turns, but I have no doubt I'll revisit it again someday. To have such a memorable, emotionally resonant piece of art available for free feels like robbery. The atmosphere is impeccable, the soundtrack is beautiful, and the game has an air of grotesque whimsy. I have played games dozens of times longer and not been nearly as moved or invested. I feel that making this experience any longer would have diluted its impact. It packs a punch. Yes, it's a bite-sized snack of a game, but the snack is a hearty one. It is incredibly difficult to condense such a profound experience into such a constrained amount of time, and yet they did it masterfully. Bravo! They certainly deserve their flowers on this one.
