I can forgive the weird story time skip between this installment and the last. I can forgive this weird need to fix something that wasn’t broken in an effort to modernize the series. I can forgive how the characters are now animated like puppets on strings, how the mix of sound effects and animation make it so the gameplay doesn’t feel satisfying the way it used to. What I CAN’T forgive is the truly, truly awful writing for Paige and her friends. Without exaggerating, every sentence, one of characters is dropping in some random youth slang like bet, goals, no cap, cringe, bae, etc. I legitimately can’t tell if this is a parody or if the writers truly think kids talk like that. It’s like the writers looked up a list of Gen Z slang and wrote the script without bothering to listen to HOW KIDS ACTUALLY TALK. (Because of course the kids are saying “I want us to boo up” instead of “Will you go out with me?”) It’s jarring, it’s unnatural, and (to borrow a word from the list) it’s cringey as all hell. And because the story focuses so much on Paige, it’s unavoidable. I really want to like this game and be open-minded about this new direction, but with half of the cutscenes focusing on Pai…7 found this helpful
I'm in Ireland and loved Emily marrying Patrick and having an Irish wedding. That was my first 'Emily'. The graphics, music, and stories are really good. Francois is funny. The first game is a must to play.

So fun and relaxing. I love it <3
I really like the game but the side games are a pain. They are a major distraction at times with no way to get 3 stars on a level on normal mode. Other than that, the game is loads of fun if you like time management kinda stuff!
