About Balls vs. Tombs
Balls vs. Tombs is a dark fantasy action-survival game built around a single, haunting purpose: to reclaim stolen souls and restore peace to a desecrated graveyard.Once, the cemetery was a place of rest. A sacred ground where spirits slept quietly beneath stone and soil. That balance was shattered when four colossal abominations emerged from the depths, corrupting the land and absorbing every soul bound to the graves. As the spirits were torn from their resting places, the monsters grew stronger, warping the cemetery into a battlefield of rage, decay, and despair. You are one of the few who can fight back.CORE GAMEPLAYAt its heart, Balls vs. Tombs is a fast-paced combat experience where precision, positioning, and elemental mastery matter. You fight by launching powerful orbs—your primary weapons against waves of enraged spirits and corrupted entities. The core loop is simple but deep:Defeat corrupted enemiesRecover their trapped soulsReturn souls to restored gravesExpand and cleanse the cemeteryUnlock new characters, powers, and combinationsEach reclaimed grave brings the world closer to balance—and brings you closer to confronting the true source of the corruption.ELEMENTAL CHARACTERS & ORBSBeyond the basic orb, the game features four unlockable characters, each bound to a unique elemental sphere:Water Orb – fluid control, slowing enemies and shaping the battlefieldAir Orb – speed, mobility, and precision strikesPoison Orb – damage over time, area corruption, and attritionFire Orb – raw power, explosive impact, and aggressive playEach character fundamentally changes how the game feels, encouraging experimentation and mastery.FUSION SYSTEM – THE HEART OF POWERWhat truly sets Balls vs. Tombs apart is its Orb Fusion System.Every elemental orb can be fused with every other orb.Water + FireAir + PoisonFire + AirPoison + Water…and every possible combination in between. Each fusion creates a new, more powerful hybrid orb with unique behaviors, visuals, and combat effects. Some fusions focus on crowd control, others on burst damage, chain reactions, or battlefield dominance. This system turns combat into a strategic sandbox, rewarding creativity and experimentation. The more you understand the elements, the more devastating your builds become.THE CEMETERY AS PROGRESSIONThere is no traditional level select. The graveyard itself is your progression system. As you rescue souls and rebuild graves:New cemetery zones unlockStronger enemy types begin to appearNew characters and orb types become availableThe world visually transforms from corruption to sanctified groundWhat feels like an open, evolving environment is actually a carefully structured progression arc—a living level system disguised as world restoration.BOSSES & NARRATIVEThe four great monsters are not random enemies. Each represents a twisted force that feeds on unrest and unfinished souls. As they absorb spirits, they grow in size, power, and presence—something reflected both in gameplay and cinematic moments.THE GOALThis is not just about surviving waves. It’s about bringing peace back to the dead.Every soul you recover matters.Every grave you restore reshapes the world.Every fusion you master brings you closer to ending the corruption.Welcome to Balls vs. Tombs. The dead are waiting.

It's as it seems. Uninspired and a waste of time. Granted, I didn't stick around long because the enemies take 17 hits to die (I counted) and they are not hard it's just super tedious so I completed a single match and then tried the second "level" and it's the same boring enemy. You can only summon one of your default balls 3 times at once, no mini-balls. It's so sloooooow, the sound effects are atrocious, the visuals are... exactly as they are presented (bad). There's no impact to your hits, there's no impact to anything. The way enemies spawn in is just fading in rather than any bombastic way that can potentially hit you like Ball x Pit dropping them onto the field. The upgrades are very limited compared to BxP to start, you start with one whole character and their default ball seemingly doesn't upgrade (it does do more damage, seemingly once you level up automatically). But additional balls you get, like ice, are on a cool down rather than used again once they're caught after firing which makes things even more slow and tedious to deal with. Ice was the only one that showed up my entire one and .001 runs. So I assume you need to unlock stuff via the tombstones. I'll explai…2 found this helpful
