Blippo+

god i wanted to love this but the ending was so lackluster for me. i really like this project, i think it's clear how much fun they had with it and i think that fun is contagious. it's good mid to low budget kinda fun. but everything it does to try and be more than that is really sloppy. it throws in lip service to tv censorship and how you should distrust what you see, but the tv executive also barely censors anything so it's hard to really question anything without just turning the TV off entirely. a stronger version of this story would show storylines being hastily changed and casts being cut in order to maintain the narrative, but i think that would go against this project's real core goal, which was to make a bunch of silly videos with their team. and they did that! it's neat silly, campy scifi.

Don’t let the initial number of different shows scare you away: the story is easy enough to follow no matter which station you tune to, and only a few of the shows have serial storylines. A must-experience if you’re a fan of 80s-90s television; doubly so if you like public-access fever dreams.

THIS GAME IS SO SWEET AND FUN!!!! The amount of love that went into it is plain to see, just a delight over all, I can't wait to see what else this crew gets up to in the future <3

Blippo+ is a strangely alluring experience that somehow combines retro nostalgia with the futuristic in a way that is both bizarre and intriguing.

Rick and Morty's interdimensional cable in game form

Blippo+ is a super unique FMV channel surfing game. Its essentially interdimensional cable with a variety of genres and quirky shows. It's one of a kind and has a threaded storyline throughout as well, the visuals are intentionally nostalgic and retro, and it has great audio and visual presence. I'd highly recommend Blippo+ to those interested in its aesthetic choices and FMV/cable-like design.
